2018 Annual Award Nominees

The Castle Rock Chamber is now accepting nominations for the following Castle Rock Chamber of Commerce Annual Awards:  Businessperson of the Year, Citizen of the Year, Ping Lee Jung Volunteer of the Year, and the Castle Rock Advocate of the Year.

Any Chamber member may nominate a Chamber business, which meets the criteria, and Chamber business owners are encouraged to nominate their own businesses.

Deadline for nominations is:  February 13, 2018.

The winner will be announced at the 2018 Annual Banquet, to be held on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at the Marriott Denver South.

Businessperson of the Year

The 2018 Business Person of the Year Award—the Chamber’s most prestigious award, recognizes business owners and/or management who have competitively positioned their business in the marketplace; demonstrating strong financial performance in their industry; has successfully managed the growth of their company; has utilized innovative or creative business methods in response to times of adversity and has a strong commitment to the betterment of the Castle Rock Community.

Small Business Award

Same award as above, but with 20 or less employees. 

Citizen of the Year

The Citizen of the Year Award is given to a selfless individual based on their many years of volunteer activity within the community.  This person demonstrates a dedication and loyalty to the Castle Rock area with commitment to service.

Ping Lee Jung Volunteer

The Ping Lee Jung Volunteer of the Year Award recognizes a Chamber of Commerce member who has demonstrated by unselfishly giving of their time by utilizing their talent in leadership to further the mission of the Chamber.

Castle Rock Advocate

Castle Rock Advocate Award—recognizes an individual who is either an employee or an elected official within Douglas County.

P.S. Miller Philanthropy Award

The P.S. Miller Philanthropy Award recognition is based on outstanding philanthropy of significant gifts of capital resources, real property, stocks, securities, or proceeds from a trust to a Douglas County nonprofit or governmental organization and/or has made a long-term historical impact on the Castle Rock area.
